New TV Series Looking for Expecting Mothers

I was recently contacted by the producer of a new television program that wants to find expecting mothers who might have an interest in sharing their childbirth experience with a broad audience. I can’t say this is for everyone, but if you’ve ever wanted to be on television and plan to have a room full of people at your next child’s birth, here’s the information:

We are looking for mothers-to-be who want to have a group delivery
experience by inviting loved ones to the birth of their child.

If you or anyone you know wants this type of birthing experience and are
interested in participating in the show, please contact us at the email
below for an application and more information!

We are hoping to get diverse and interesting women involved!

What do you all think of this concept…something you’d watch?

  1. Tere Says:

When I gave birth, in the room with me were my 2 midwives (duh), husband, 2 sisters, and best friend. My mom and m-i-l would pop in occasionally.

Right outside my door were my father, 2 brothers-in-law, best friend’s husband, f-i-l, and sister-in-law.

Does that count as a group experience?

Having all those people there was natural to me. We’re Cuban, though, and we rarely do anything of even the slightest importance without at least 20 relatives around for support.

That said, I’m not sure I would’ve wanted my birth experience (and it was a wonderful one) broadcast all over the place. I looked beyond awful, and for that alone, I’d be averse to the cameras! :-)
