Calling All Bargain Hunters!…great online discount code site
I just read about and then browsed a great site for anyone that shops online. The site, www.currentcodes.com, lists a huge number of the promotional and rebate codes that many online merchants accept. You can search by category, merchant name or alphabetically. The next time I shop online (wish I’d known about this site last week!), I’ll definitely swing by CurrentCodes before completing my purchase. Oh, how I love to get a deal
Has anyone ever used this site or know of others that are similar?
Halfway to our $1,000 Giveaway!
Sometimes perservenance pays off. That’s the case with Wanderlust, who posts faithfully to Parentography almost every day. Her review of a Sandy, UT movie theater that offers Movies for Moms days pushed us past the 500 mark and the halfway point to our Grand Prize $1,000 giveaway.Â
Parentography continues to get better as more parents discover us and add their own favorite (and not so favorite) family-friendly places and activities. With Spring Break quickly approaching, now is a great time to write reviews about your favorite local spots or get-away destinations!
New Feature: Preschoolers no longer slighted on Parentography
When we were designing Parentography, we made some choices about the category names for children’s ages that we thought were clear and comprehensive. Turns out, we only got it partly right. A few of you wrote to us asking why we didn’t have “preschooler” as an age category and how we could justify using “toddler” to encompass any child from about one to three years old? Clearly, they reasoned, we could see that a one year old is very different from a three year old and that the kinds of places and activities they might enjoy would vary widely. Well, they were right and you will now notice that we’ve sandwiched “preschooler” right in between “toddler” and “elementary”. So, now all those forgotten preschoolers no longer have to feel left out of the action!
A New #1: Wanderlust
Before we launched Parentography, my wife and I spent a fair amount of time uploading our own reviews and excursions. This gave us an unfair leg-up on everyone and easily catapulted us into the top and second spots in the Parentography site rankings.Â
Now, just a short month after our debut, my days of wondering when someone would dethrone Noelle (who previously held the top spot) are over. We have a new top Parentographer! Wanderlust is “a 30’s something former Kindergarten teacher and new Mom married to a geeky engineer.” She lives in Utah now, but has traveled and written about places all over the country — just check out her profile page to see some of the territory she’s covered! She also has her own blog, which you can find at www.geokaz.com.
Congratulations, Wanderlust!Â
New TV Series Looking for Expecting Mothers
I was recently contacted by the producer of a new television program that wants to find expecting mothers who might have an interest in sharing their childbirth experience with a broad audience. I can’t say this is for everyone, but if you’ve ever wanted to be on television and plan to have a room full of people at your next child’s birth, here’s the information:
We are looking for mothers-to-be who want to have a group delivery
experience by inviting loved ones to the birth of their child.
If you or anyone you know wants this type of birthing experience and are
interested in participating in the show, please contact us at the email
below for an application and more information!

We are hoping to get diverse and interesting women involved!
What do you all think of this concept…something you’d watch?
welcome!
